Nevada 2026 · Don’t sit this one out
KeepNevadaNevada.
Don’t become California.
Democrats already run the Legislature. They are one seat short in the Senate and one in the Assembly of overriding Governor Lombardo’s veto. Don’t skip the bottom of your ballot. Vote Lombardo, then Republican for State Senate and State Assembly.
The math
One seat.
Each house.
Democrats already hold both houses. With two-thirds of each, they can override every veto. They are one seat short in the Senate and one in the Assembly.
One Senate seat and one Assembly seat. That is all that stands between Democrats and a Legislature that can ignore the governor completely.
The warning signs are already here
When one party controls everything.
Look at what happened in states where Democrats controlled the governor’s office and the legislature.
Passed under Democratic leadership in 2021. In 2025 the state had to suspend it to bring egg prices down.

Make your plan to vote →Bird flu drove the 2025 egg shortage; the cage-free law limited which eggs Nevada stores could sell, and the state reported prices fell an average of $1.37 a dozen after it suspended the law. Oregon’s result was a preliminary count. Every card links to its source.
How a veto works
The veto is the last check. Your ballot decides it.
The governor says no
When Governor Lombardo vetoes a bill, it goes back to the Legislature. It does not become law unless lawmakers override him.
Overriding takes two-thirds
Both houses must vote to override: 14 of 21 in the Senate and 28 of 42 in the Assembly. One house is not enough.
Democrats are one seat away
They hold 13 Senate seats and 27 Assembly seats. One more in each house and the veto stops meaning anything.
The part people skip
Vote Lombardo and stop there? That’s not enough.
Everyone sees the governor’s race at the top. The Senate and Assembly lines sit further down, and plenty of Republicans who vote for Lombardo skip them, or sit the whole election out.
Legislative races come down to a few hundred votes. A seat you skip is a seat decided by everyone else. Eleven of the 21 Senate seats and all 42 Assembly seats are on the ballot this year.
Don’t skip it.

About Nevada Wins PAC
Winning Republican majorities in Carson City.
Nevada Wins PAC works to win Republican majorities in both houses of the Nevada Legislature. We focus on the competitive Senate and Assembly races, and on the voters other campaigns overlook: independents and Republicans who don’t always vote.
Keep Nevada Nevada. When one party holds the governor’s office and the legislature, what happens next is up to that party alone. A Republican check in Carson City keeps that from happening here.
